Is it possible to make adjustments to the colour of the sky in one video clip to match better match the colour of the sky in another video clip.
Consider the following which are part images taken from two video clips (and the both clips stay 'on target' ie no panning or zooming). All colours in the right image are stronger (especially the blue sky) than in the left image. I would like to better match the image on the right to the left.

Re: Colour matching diffeernt video clips
X10's Colorfast filter will allow you to manipulate colour (see image below), but your two photos seem to have been taken under very different light conditions which is a problem. The Color Correction feature in VS2018 and later, might be more useful in matching colours. That said, it's difficult to match colours in clips taken under very different light conditions.

You can try Chroma Key as though working with a blue screen
Remove the blue, then replace the background with an image of the First / other clips background
Attached a smart package using images, same process for video clips.

I have the same issue in multicam edit. Especially using two cameras with different color attitude.
Unfortunately VS2021 does not have any auto color mach feature. I find a workaround using LUT s in both cameras.

Re: Colour matching diffeernt video clips
Thanks everyone for your replies and suggestions.
Yes the clips were taken with different cameras on different days (conditions) which doesn't make it easy.
I had a quick look at the colorfast filter (after reading the suggestion) and it looks complex and a lot of time needed to make corrections.
Being quite used to using chroma key (but only in PaintShop Pro) I will check that out as it is mainly the blue sky which I want to change which will be easily 'selected'/lassoed).

Re: Colour matching diffeernt video clips
HI Trevor
I want to apply the Chroma Key to a video (not sure if that is what you did in your example). I applied the chroma key filter but could not get all the value sky selected.
I have attached a 2 second video clip of and an image taken from another video clip which thankfully only has sky in it which I would like to use to replace the sky in the background of the video clip. I can't work out how to do that in VS although I have no problem in PSP.

I did not use FX Chroma I used the program Chroma options
1 / Double click the clip on the overlay track, that opens the options panel
2 / Make sure the Attributes tab is selected
3 / Select Mask & Chroma Key
Now you should see a thumbnail of the video
4 / Type is Chroma Key
5 / Similarity was set by using the colour dropper to select the blue
That removes all blue in the video.
6 / back on the timelines (The first video clip is the original.) I added images to the top track to provide new backgrounds
By duplicating the video clip I can show more background samples
I notice the video sample you provided was low resolution at 720 x 480, 2500kbps
I hope this is not the original which I assume is HD

Re: Colour matching diffeernt video clips
Thanks Trevor. Perfect. I had the video clip on the timeline and image on the overlay track - silly me.
No I rendered part of the clip as 720x480 merely to reduce file size. Original is 1080p.
FYI the bird is called a Whistling Kite. https://www.birdlife.org.au/bird-profile/whistling-kite
