As the subject says I'm hopeful this is a simple question..
I have spent some time putting together a photo / video montage of my Daughter (turning 1 soon!) however I want to add some videos & images to my existing timeline but I cant see how I can slip everything from one point to the right whilst maintaining the text overlays /effects/ existing gaps etc? without adjusting each segment on the timeline (I have 6 overlays) this will take so much time and I'm sure I will need to do this many times as I work through this little project..
Have posted a pic and drawn a line of what I mean as an example if I want to slip the entire project from that point?
Thanks in advance for any help, I'm sure it will be easy...
Hopefully a stupid question : How to add a gap and slip the timeline.

Welcome to the forum!
Look at the User Guide for Ripple Editing. Essentially, it does what you are looking for when you activate the little chain link button to the extreme left of the timeline. Do this for each of the tracks you want ripple editing to affect. See where the red arrow in my attached screenshot is pointing.
