Hey,
wasn't able to find the answer in the web / corel sites / forum....
I am working on several files and remove their backgrounds to make the objects transparent. Works fine in general but as the background color of my picture is white/grey and the the color of the checkerboard is also white with the lines of the pattern it is nearly impossible to find the areas where there are still pixels left - white pixels on a white background.
When viewing the final transparent picture on a WHITE background, then the file looks great but when viewing on a BLACK background then I see the white and grey areas which were left.
So how do I change the color of the checkerboard?
How to change the color of the checkerboard to work with transparancy?

In File -> Preferences -> General Program Preferences
It's under the Shading and Transparency category. You can choose from some pre-made themes, or you can set your own custom colors.
