hi all, i wonder if anyone can help. i have a videoclip on the timeline, in a overlay track i have an image. i want the image to spin for a few seconds whilst remaining static.
i followed these options but it doesn't give me what i want.
double click image,
options panel-edit, click on rotate before pause and static/
then i click on rotate after pause and static - this doesn't work however if i choose any of the options other then static it works fine.
hope that makes sense
thanks

Re: Spin an image
You don't explain what you mean by "spin". Customize motion will allow you to rotate an image around the X, Y and Z axes.gemini kev wrote: i want the image to spin for a few seconds whilst remaining static.
If you want to "spin" an image like a globe then you'll need to create a 3D model.

Re: Spin an image
As tletter posted, Cusomize Motion is your tool. If you can post the image and explain what your vision of motion is, I'll try to put it together.

Re: Spin an image
hi thanks for answering, perhaps i haven't explained it very well what i'm trying to do. i've added a link to a youtube video which i put together for someone a couple of years back, through the video i have an image spin briefly intermittently.. i used VS 2019 for this. as i've done it before makes it all more frustrating that i can't remember. if you don't mind could you take a look at the video and see what you think. many thanks

As mentioned, customize motion will allow you to rotate an image around the X, Y and Z axes. You spin your image about the Z axis in your video, so customize motion will do what you want.gemini kev wrote:through the video i have an image spin briefly intermittently

Not only are you rotating the image you are changing to another image.
For this I think you need to use the A/B Transitions.
Not on my pc so cannot check which is best to use, there are as far as i know rotate or spin transitions to choose from.
I’ll check when i get back to the pc to use video studio.

Re: Spin an image
There is no requirement for a transition as that is an aesthetic choice which was not made in the original video on YT.lata wrote:For this I think you need to use the A/B Transitions.
