Hello everyone! I am new to Corel, and I am running into a problem. Ive Googled and Googled but have not found a fix.
So I do my whole video thing and then do the share thing and it goes to my computer and its awesome.
HOWEVER, if I add titles and text, when I do the share thing with the same settings and everything, the video comes out grainy and blurry and looks very low res, even though its set to a higher res.
If I remove the title overlays, it will come out fine! So please help me! What am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance!
Need help with title overlays

Sounds as though you are rendering using "same as first video clip " setting and you video is being rendered using the titles properties - or the video when the titles are not present -- change to same as project settings (if you have correctly set the project properties) or manually set your rendering properties

Re: Need help with title overlays
Corel Videostudio 2021 is the current version with current updates. I was doing it as project settings. I made sure to have it set to that. Where do I go to manually set rendering properties?
There are the settings currently. NTSC drop frame (29.97 fps)
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 1920 x 1080, 29.97 fps
Frame-based
H.264 High Profile Video: 5000 Kbps, 16:9
48000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 256 Kbps
Thanks for all the help!

Re: Need help with title overlays
StrataXIII….
The settings you show there appear to be a profile from Project Properties – Mobile
Can you give your properties of your video file
Right click your video clip in the library or on the timeline and choose properties what are they?
We normally try to match the project to use the same or similar properties as the video file, The program can do that by using an option we call Show Messages….
Set by default in Preferences (F6) – General Tab.
This only shows when inserting the FIRST video to the timeline, therefor only once for each project.
As for the reduction in quality, a little strange as to why that should happen as I do not think choosing a different share profile should really affect quality because of adding Titles.
There have been reports with earlier versions that using Smart Proxy has affected render quality with the only recommendation is to disable Smart Proxy before rendering, (F6) Preferences – Performance tab
Smart Render has in some cases caused some render issues for some types of video file.
From Share – Deselect the option Enable Smart Render then Press the Start button
Please try a test render, First start a new project.
1 / import your video to the top timeline, should show the Show Messages to match the video.
If so choose Details, then copy and paste the Video Properties from the right hand panel to your post
2 / You can trim the clip making it smaller and quicker to render for the test
3 / Add the titles
4 / Share
5 / top left – tick the box Same As Project Settings to enable that option, then choose Same as First Video Clip
6 / Deselect Enable Smart Render
7 / Start
8 / Compare the quality of the new to original video files.
Should Show Messages not work selecting Settings - Project Properties will allow you to set or edit the Project Properties
Mobile and On line profiles for Mpeg4 types.

Hey Lata! So I disabled smart render and it seemed to have worked! Wow! Thank you so so so so so so much! I wonder what the issue was, but I am very thankful it appears to be working now!
