Colour management issue I think?

Post by Mike2019 »

Hi all; I never had a problem with PSP2020 but since updating to PSP2021 I seem to have a problem with blue tint on pictures.
Try and keep it short... When I first used 2021 all the pics I loaded in had an orange tint. Looked in Colour Management and set it to my monitor settings G2460. Then pics I loaded in looked OK. However now they still look OK when loaded in and working on them but when saved and viewed online or as a jpg on the monitor they have a significant blue tinge.
Did tests with a known good colour test chart with white border and divisions. Loaded in Workspace OK and with white showing as it should; saved it without any alteration as a different name and viewed the two images on the monitor; same problem blue image on the saved version.
How do I get out of this anomaly please. Have I got to wrongly do a minus blue on every image before saving it?
Many thanks, Mike.

Try to disable the Color Management and see if the results are different.
Could you also send here a crop of a problematic image?

Thanks Jean-Luc.Here's the original and the blue cast image. Top image is the blue cast one, bottom one original. Of course this mucks up all the other colours as well. Will try disabling the Colour Management if I can see how later and post the results; hoping that will work. I saw a lot of other post about problem with it but didn't really understand them.

Update; turned off colour management and altered the top line to 'sRGB color space Profile.icm' and everything back to normal. Saved the preferences the same as my PSP2020.
Should have thought of that in the first place.
thanks for your help Jean-Luc.
Mike.
