Actually I was quite happy with the latest patch 24.1.0.299.
But today I believe I found a bug in multi overlayed projects.
When you split a video file in the top layer, after that split point whenever you choose any layer below it, the top layer disappears.
Check the attached video of screen recording. Also I have a smart package exported as wetransfer link.

Working for hotfix.
Thank you everybody for the test. It is shame since I use that feature in my projects too much.
A workaround is to split the top layer video/image from the same point. (Not a solution but for a while it should do the job). I sometimes use 10-12 overlays that would be hard fo me
