How to import videos with alpha ( transparency ) into Videostudio?

Post by Hilarinho »

Hello

Videostudio now exports MOV videos with transparency ( Like animated overlays ) , and can re-import it easily.

But how to to import videos made in other softwares ? Which settings are accepted in Videostudio, to be put in timeline to interact with other tracks, AND to be seeing with transparency ( not the usual black background ) ?

I don't want to use chroma key. I just want to import the videos as the ones made with Videostudio ( Alpha channel video option in the Share ).

And, which settings are put in the MOV videos exported by Videostudio ? ( Codec, bitrate, etc ) Maybe we could try to match that to the videos made in other suits, to be 100% compatible with Videostudio.

Thanks for any help.

Hmm, thanks Cybernick :)

I'll try to match that and test it here.
