Ulead Workshop2 'OPERATION ABORTED'!!

Hi all from a newbie.

Can someone help me with this problem please?

I have recently reinstalled ulead dvd workshop2 [a my PC crashed recently due to an unrelated issue], and now find that when I get to the final window and select 'Burn' a small window pops up 'Operation Aborted'. What's going on here???? I'm doing all the right things; importing mpeg2 file and then going straight to complete the project (as I didn't need menus or chapters). The only settings I've changed is to default to PAL/SECAM rather than the factory setting of NTSC. That shouldn't make a difference though, should it?

I've DL'd and installed the update packages for Workshop2. I run Windows XP on my PC updated to serive pack 2.

Wel, seeing as no one could answer my problem I figured it out myself! It was because I was importing avi files and not mpeg. I ended up converting through nero and then importing it again into workshop...worked well.
