This time, after VS2021 was updated (24.1.0.299), many samples from FX in Adorage got an error.

My Video Studio program was recently installed to version 24.1.0.299
The computer does not have any other version of Video Studio installed so there will be no other files from previous versions.

The program has been updated to reduce the size of installation files some of the Adorage files are not provided with the installation of the program
Corel have made these available via the Welcome screen
proDADAdorageV13 and proDADAdorageV9 are available.

I would advise that you try downloading / install these packs to see if it fixes your issue

By the way I now have the heart options working ok

However proDADAdorageV9 package does not seem to install correctly, I’ll check that again

For what it's worth, when I saw this, I thought I would give installing Vols 9 and 13 a go. I had not previously installed them in VS 2021 as I never use them. I had also only yesterday updated my VS 2021 to 24.1.0.299. Anyway, I installed them. I threw together a quick project, inserting Adorage between the clips. Then went to Customize the transition. I first opened Vol 9, and everything appeared to be as it should. There were no error messages, and the various transitions in the Volume were all listed and appeared to be correct. So I chose one at random, customized it, OK'd it and the main Adorage window. And the transition worked perfectly in VS 2021. See attached screenshot.

Just in case, I repeated the experiment with different transitions chosen randomly from Vol 9, and all of them worked properly.

I also tried a few from Vol 13, and they too worked correctly. I also have the Standard pack, Vol 2 and a Starter Pack appearing in the Adorage window. These also work correctly.

If so then vol 9 and 13 are already installed and working correctly.

I only have 2021 which does require the free packs from the welcome screen

I guess I could install 2020 which will install Adorage in full, then install 2021 to see how that goes.

Yes, I have VS 2020 already installed. Perhaps I should have first checked VS 2021 to see if Vols 9 and 13 were already there. But when I went to the Store in VS 2021, the option to install them was active, so I assumed VS 2021 did not already have them.

I manually reinstalled Adorage in VS2020.

My system is also fixed after doing a reset for Video Studio 2021

Yes Ken the free Adorage vol 9 and 13 will install even though they may be on the pc from an earlier version
I installed those during beta prior to the release version, they were already installed from 2020, they installed again without problem from 2021 welcome

It was having 2021 on its own that seemed to have problems.
