VS 2021 Ultimate Update 24.1.0.299. What's new?

My VS 2021 just got the update 24.1.299. Does anybody know what's news and what has been fixed?

I just posted (and deleted) the same question. The only thing I looked for, and was not there, was audio waveforms in the timeline without going into the sound mixer.

Looks like my issue with Mercalli from this topic (https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?f ... 86#p385686) was solved . Mercalli works great now!

Yes Smake11 confirmed that the Mercalli issue seems to have been fixed

Guys, I have asked for an official list to the fixes included in this service pack

Admin will post as soon as we receive that list.

Than you will have to look elsewhere, I don't think it will ever be in VS.

did you notice we can now scroll the overlay tracks with the video track always in view

In the past, release notes and update executables were available on the official website, but the service has gone bad. I'm sad.

There are four fixes that I can confirm

The UI of the NewBlue plugin is now dark-themed and easier to read, and keyframe removal is now decent.

The text alignment can now be changed based on the title safeline. It was not working properly for the last few versions.

The button to go back to the previous frame in trimmed length video files now works properly.

You can now use the arrow keys on the keyboard to fine-tune the position of the overlay. This was also working originally.

I e-mailed the development team regarding an official fix list and have not had a reply, I sent that mail again a few minutes ago.

. Label titles uniquely, and also for tooltips
. Video mask not working on trimmed video (Beta 0612)
. Vertical scrolling through overlay tracks, hides top track (Beta 0616)
. Allow delete of Popular and Trending Styles folders
. Crash when preparing TSM library
. Preferences panel needs a scrollbar
. VS crashes when burn BD, if convert 1920 to 4K
. Subtitle Editor - Missing French, in Import
. AR Stickers not displayed, AMD A10 tester PCs
. Templates, blank space, caused by SWF support
. Firewall warnings with 24.0.1.212, one from NewBlue, one from Corel
. VS crashes when click OK to MultiCam Editor
. Mask: adjust value manually, can't set beyond 100, but can be done graphically
. NewBlue: Remove keyframes option is missing
. Localization error
. Switch to Project preview will cause crash
. Auto add transitions - designed behavior?
. 'Popular' folder can be deleted, but returns at VS re-launch
. Project/Clip mode switch incorrectly
. Timeline - Hold "Shift" and drag the clip, the timeline cursor cannot move with the mouse
. Edit - The timecode of the trimed clip under the preview window cannot jump to the correct frame
. Preview - The trimmed clip preview was wrong
. Timecode incorrect after cut
. Filters - Add audio filters on ScoreFitter Music will cause crash
. 360 Video - Preview two 360 video on timeline will cause the vsp crash
. Preview - After the clip is replaced, click Undo, preview window doesn't refresh in time
. Mask Creator - Change the Pixels of Text mask shows no effect
. Text Mask - The vertical layout function of Text maks has no effect
. Template - Speed templates would have problems in overlay track
. Smart Package - Themed Intros save to Smart Package will pop up error
. Effect - Filter preset list show nothing
. Trim - Trim in library not use
. Path - The saved Motion Path preview has no effect
. Template - Undo after replacement, the clips will be overlapped
. Share - Share will pop up another window to playback video
. Preview-Choose a special frame to play didn't work on Project mode
. Customize Motion - The effect of the picture in preview is different from the setting
. Can't play certain mp4 and VS not responding
. Using portrait video in Overlay track to create mask will crash
. Edit - The arrow keys cannot control the movement of the clip position
. Crash - Drag the clip that applied customize motion to library in 9:16 project, VSP crash
. Render nested project fails
. SnapShot - The snapshot picture is blurry
. Can't preview correctly in MCE
. Can't import the SRT file
. Title will disappear out of window
. In project playback, can see a little jump when starting to play from the end to end
. Disable "Close" button in Full screen play mode
. MASK- VSP crash when add a self-built mask on a color clip
. MOV preview quality issue -- pushed up line, presumably for further study
