I have two unconnected PCs running Windows 10 and despite both my PCs conforming to, and even exceeding the specifications required to run Videostudio 2021 Ultimate, AR Stickers do not work on either PC. When trying to attach a Sticker I get the error message " current device does not support AR Stickers".
Is anyone else experiencing this problem and if so, have you a solution?
Many Thanks

Whilst waiting for the experts to reply, check your date of purchase of 2021 - you may still be within the warranty period.

Re: Videostudio 2021 Ultimate - AR Stickers
I cannot use AR Stickers with same error message
It appears that those are not supported by my AMD A10 processor, the problem may affect other types.
I am aware that Corel are working on a fix for this, I am just being patient.
You should contact Corel Support to inform them of your problem giving them the pc details.
Yes they will probably ask that you re-install the program.

Re: Videostudio 2021 Ultimate - AR Stickers
Many thanks for your replies. I suppose it's comforting to know that other people have the same problem and it's not just me... and also that Corel are working on a fix. My two PCs have Intel i5 and i7 CPU's and both have NVidia graphics cards. Fairly run of the mill I would have thought. I have been corresponding with Corel support over this issue but can't say that I am filled with confidence. They have asked for a WINAudit and MSinfo32 report... for the second time, and never answer any questions I put to them. Oh well, I suppose patience is the answer, awaiting for the fix.
Having had previous versions of Videostudio installed, after uninstalling them to install the latest version, I have found that lots of bits of the old installations are scattered around my system, although I doubt that has anything to do with the AR Stickers problem.

Re un-installing . .
rarely does an un-install totally remove everything: there are bits and pieces all thru the registry that may be common (cleaner removal works) or have credentials attached (the original install creds needed to remove) - and in each category there are items that link a program to a location on a drive, and data for the programs, like initial values etc. vendors will always get the install right - if they don't the software won't work and they have a financial interest in that phase of it. Un-installing is an entirely different matter - those vendors can be quite slack in removing everything they installed. As an example, last year during an upgrade to win 10, there were no VS programs installed on my desktop. Yet in the upgraded registry, a search found 884 details and data for VS software dating back to 2015, all of which had long since been uninstalled. Removing them by hand with other tools was an exercise in living dangerously - after being burnt, my recommendation is to just live with it. If you really want to try this make sure you have a good backup of the C drive before you start - you will probably need it.
What does work with cleaners is their ability to ensure that software that can be executed actually exists in the specified location: pretty much like ensuring that every subject listed in the index of a document exist in the main document itself. If it doesn't, you can remove the link details. That ability is a life-saver for corrupted software that won't start or work correctly and needs removal.
There's not much you or MS can do about vendors using slack programmers that won't correctly document what is installed in the registry so it can be uninstalled later if needed.
