Hi, I am hoping some can give me some advice. I have used Photoshop Pro a few times to do things like take out tears blemishes etc. But I am hoping someone can help me with a photo that has been in a circular frame and the part that was visible is faded. How can I adjust just that section of the photo? I have attached the photo, it was actually two photos taped together and I have combined them but don't know how to selectively restore the colours - Help!
Thanks in anticipation, Geoff.

@Jean-Luc,
If I may, will your PSP image include the history so that other people who have a similar issue can follow the steps? If not, then while it might help the OP it doesn't help others. And, IMHO, when we post here to help someone with an issue we usually try to post the steps we took to achieve our result so that others in the forum can also benefit. Just sayin'....

Re: Partially faded colour photo
@ JoeB
Of course...
Principal steps I did:
- make a selection of the faded circle and transform the selection into a layer
- make a color correction of the underneath layer (magenta cast corrected with the Histogram Adjustment tool)
- duplicate the layer with the circle selection and apply a Multiply blend mode and merge down
- make a color correction of the selected circle (Histogram Adjustment tool)
All my steps are recorded in the Image History but not always in the correct order I described above (I tried different methods).
The file is approx. 120 Mo:
