Howdy
I’m Not Sure What You Are Asking. I Cant Capture Using This Software, it Crashes To Often. I Use Capwiz Then Import The File To This Software. I Make My Edits Then Go To Share> Create Disc. I Select VCD Then Skip Over All Of The Other Choices Because I Don’t Know The Purpose. And I Don’t Need A menu Well Not At This Point Anyway. If These Steps Are Critical Then They Should Have Included Them In The User manual.
The Only Thing I Can Tell You Is I Have Followed The User Manual 5 Times With Very Small Files And It Does Not Work. I Did Manage To Burn One Of My Files Using Old Faithful Nero 6.
The error Messages I’m Getting should provide The answers But I Cant Find Them In The knowledgebase.
Thx Rob W

Rob,
I sincerely recommend that you read the top post entitled "NEW USERS PLEASE READ..." and follow the first link to the "Recommended Procedure" for avoiding bugs in Video Studio. This will explain how to create a video file before trying to burn DVDs and how to set detailed burn properties that match your capture properties.

I can't comment on your capture problem as you don't provide enough info on exactly what you are doing and with what connections.
As for the burning problems, it is highly likely that the SE version you are using is crippled by not having an active burning module. All versions labelled SE are crippled in some way. If I recall correctly, it would need to say something like 'SE DVD' in order for it to have an active burning module.

Howdy And Thx For Your Replies
I Looked At the Post It For Burning DVD If I am Not Mistaken. Not What I Need to Do We Need to Be Able to Play Back On CD Drives And From What I Understand This Format Would Be VCD. These Are not For My Personal Use. They Will Be Shared With Others From A Hurricane Relief Project In Fla. They Are Training Videos. But Maybe I Can Learn From It.
So What I gather From The Replies Are The Software I Was sold Does Not Work And The Instructions That Came With It Are Worthless.
Anyway I will Give The Info In The Post A Look See. Thx
