Freehand Selection Tool Options

Post by David »

An additional Point to Point selection option for the Clone Tool. At present it has Elipse, Rectangle and Freehand, it would ne nice to have a "Point to Point" option for people (like me) that are getting on a bit and have a bit of a shaky hand when using the Freehand option

The Clone Brush has only two shapes: Round and Square.
Where do you see a Freehand?

If you have a shaky hand, you may try to reduce the reactivity of the mouse (see the mouse settings).

Hi David,

I have moved your post to it's own topic as it appears you have confused the clone tool with the selection tool.

Once you have selected the freehand selection tool, go to the drop-down box (pictured below) on the tools option toolbar and click on the downward arrow to reveal 4 types of freehand selection tools.

1. Edge Seeker
2. Freehand
3. Point to Point
4. Smart Edge

Hope this helps.

I think Dave meant to say the Smart Clone tool (that one can be indeed set to freehand too)
