From complete workspace to photography

Post by J4R1O »

Hi,

PSP 2021 Ultimate crashes everytime I change the workspace from complete to photography - and won't shut down completely after that (I have to "CTRL + Alt + Del" and close it manually via Task Manager). Is this a known issue?

Cheers,

It's kind of a mess yes. Especially if you are using large text, icons, etc. In my case it doesn't crash but does some crazy stuff in general (like losing the menu bar, or going to complete workspace instead of the selected custom-one when using the Home screen for the switch).

Try switching from the Home screen instead of the File -> Workspace menu, or vice versa. One of the 2 should work without crashing.

Hi,

Ok, just tried and noticed that switching from File > Workspace menu works without crashing. Thanks!

That's a bummer! It was supposedly fixed with the 2021 update (but to tell you the truth I'm always in the Complete workspace, so I only tested it today after your post... didn'n't crash for me, but did the looney stuff I described... maybe it crashes after a while, who knows... )

Okay, thanks for checking. It shows you already have update 1.

One more thing to try. I know this will sound crazy but it worked for some others. Go to the Welcome Screen and make sure the slider is on "Get Started" and not the Store. Now go back to your Complete Edit workspace and try to make the change to Photography.
