Re: THIS FILE MAY BE WRITE PROTECTED
Obviously you're very upset and angry at this "POS software", but sometimes it's a user error. Did you try searching this forum for "THIS FILE MAY BE WRITE PROTECTED"? If you do a search, you'll find threads such as https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?f ... 7&p=376502 which may help you.ozzlvlosis wrote: this garbage software is getting an error message saying "THIS FILE MAY BE WRITE PROTECTED" when rendering ... Why is this pos software preventing me from rendering?
Why not try another NLE then?ozzlvlosis wrote: this garbage software ... pos software

Re: THIS FILE MAY BE WRITE PROTECTED
If you change the directory to an active folder then there will be no problemozzlvlosis wrote: ↑Tue Mar 23, 2021 9:18 pm yes and what i found was that if you change the directory for your save location you get that error....pos software it is
If you delete the directory then you will get the message,
So if the save location is on a usb memory stick and you remove that usb the error will show on the next render.
The only problem with the error is the message itself that does not fuly explain the problem
Feel free to report this to Corel Support, just maybe they will listen to you.
