Needless to say I don't want that, otherwise I wouldn't have edited it in the first place. What happened?

Exported video - got two videos?
I did a bunch of edits with the scissor tool shortening my old file from 25 to 20 minutes. Then I clicked the 'share' tab and rendered it to a new m2t file, but got more than I bargained for. When playing back my video an arrow appeared on the left hand side saying (when moused over) "Previous video." So I clicked the arrow and to my horror
there was my old pre-edited version.
Needless to say I don't want that, otherwise I wouldn't have edited it in the first place. What happened?

Re: Exported video - got two videos?
I have not seen that before, were you playing the video through Video Studio
What version of Video Studio are you using, maybe update your profile to show the version

A screenshot would help people understand how your playing it back and where the arrow comes from. You don't state the version of VS involved.Ged wrote:When playing back my video an arrow appeared on the left hand side saying (when moused over) "Previous video." Okay, my version is Corel Videostudio 23:3.0.646 and I was playing the video through Microsoft's Films and TV app.
Attached is a screenshot. When the arrow is moused over it says "previous video" and goes through it all over again, minus my edits.

Re: Exported video - got two videos?
What you are seeing has nothing to do with VS rather it is simply how the "Movies & TV" app works. The "arrows" offers you the opportunity to play either the previous video in the folder (left arrow) or the next video in the folder (right arrow). Your folder obviously contains a previous rendered version of your project so if you don't need it then simply delete it.Ged wrote:I was playing the video through Microsoft's Films and TV app ... If you use the Windows Media Player to view your rendered project, then you won't see these arrows as that feature isn't part of this player.
P.S. Corel Videostudio 23:3.0.646 is simply known as VS2020.
