PSP 2020 smart clone tool

Post by David »

Hi
When pasting a smart cloned image there is a Rotation option in the menu with an up arrow and a down arrow. The up arrow rotates the cloned image clockwise but the down arrow does not function, I would have expected it to rotate the cloned image anti clockwise? Am I missing something or is it just the up (clockwise) option that functions?
Thanks
David

Try clicking on the carat (pictured below) instead.

Click and hold down the left-mouse button and you can move (left to right and right to left) through the various rotation scenarios. The up and down keys that you were using does the same thing only slower.

Hi Kathy
Ah I did see that feature but didn't understand what the shapes represented but it is the rotation points. Many thanks for your assistance.

I have been using PSP6 since it first became available but last year decided to bite the bullet and upgrade. Although it is far superior software I still kept reverting to PSP6 because I know it so well and could do things faster. However, I decided that I must delve into PSP20 so that I get to know where everything is and what each tool can do. After a few weeks I am starting to understand a lot more and the online tutorials are great so soon I should be going to PSP20 by default.
Thanks again
David
