My VSP file disapeared

Hi, new here and learning Corel Videostudio Pro.

Ive just completed my first project - a 20 minute talk with image overlays and text boxes. After getting it about right I clicked the 'share' tab and exported a MPEG-2 video. After it rendered (hooooooours later ) the result was fairly happy, but I thought of several new improvements. That's when something strange happened. Yes, I have my new m2t file, but my original VSP file had nothing but a white bar showing on the video track.

How do I retrieve it so that I can do some more edits?

First did you 'Save' your .vsp immediately before going to 'share' - if you didn't then the last lot of work you did is gone

did you move the original media any where at all - are the originals on a portable storage device which you have not plugged back in

A .vsp file does not contain any videos or pictures at all just instructions to Videostudio as to where to find your originals and what to do with them so in order to open your project Videostudio must have access to all your originals and they must be in exactly the same place as before

If you have just moved them (including plugging in any portable drives) then you should get a message to 'Relink' when you try to open your .vsp - which is Videostudios way of saying "I do not know where your originals are please show me where they are"

so - are the originals available to VideoStudio ?

Ive found my files. Yes, I had moved them. Silly me. Anyway they are back now. Thanks for helping.
