In another topic, K lite Codecs and the need to update them were mentioned.
Where on my computer would I find these and how would I know the version?
A search via file explorer reveals nothing.
This probably another Luddite question.

You have to install them if your computer is new. No oem, as far as I know, installs them by default.

Opens a search engine. types k lite codec pack
First returned hit...

Done.

The Corel Guide have recommended the use of K-Lite when having problems using HD video
If you are not having problems then I would doubt there is any reason to install this pack.
Their Knowledge base has some details, however the links there do not appear to work.
