I have been using VanDerlee Snowflakes in my PSP 2018 for the last couple of years. I installed it November 2020 on a new computer.
I have spent over an hour trying to get it to work on my latest "March" computer. I've been uninstalling, re-downloading, re-installing at least 5+ times - as well as reading the old forum discussion suggestions about VanDerlee Snowflakes.
File Locations for the plugin is set the same on both computers. At one point I used the same .exe that I had downloaded on the November computer-- nothing different except that PSP can't seem to use it on the March computer.
Is there a setting somewhere that I have missed?

Re: Getting Plugin to Work
I have Snowflakes v.1.03 working on my 64bit version of PSP 2019 under Windows 8.1. Do you have both computers running the 64bit PSP? Are they both running the same operating system with the same updates?

Re: Getting Plugin to Work
Yes, Joe, both are running 64-bit PSP. Both are version Windows 10 v. 20H2. Both are using the same security. That is why this situation is so odd, and the only time I've had trouble with VanDerLee. Both are ThinkPads although different models. It makes as much sense as the November computer's PSP 2018 always opening images in new windows when I click them.

Re: Getting Plugin to Work
I tried again today with a rested brain and have done more experimenting. Vanderlee will work on saved .png and .jpg images but not on .psp layers/images. That seems as if there should be a setting someplace?

Re: Getting Plugin to Work
I took a jpg, promoted to layer, duplicated, made a color adjustment to the layer and saved as pspimage and closed it in the workspace. Then opened the new pspimage and Snowflakes worked on the color adjusted layer which was selected in the layers panel. Then selected the lower (original) image in the layers panel but it was still hidden under the other layer, ran Snowflakes and it worked on the lower, selected layer. So I'm still not seeing an issue with it.

Re: Getting Plugin to Work
Thank you for trying again, Joe. There is no issue with the plugin on any of my other Windows 10 computers either. I've been using it since PSP 8.1. I give up!
