Video Studio 2022 Wishlist

I am using 2021 Video Studio Ultimate... My wish list is....Automatic reset in library manager upon launching all VS upgrades without losing collection in favorites list. Doing this helps eliminate some freezing issues in video studio and also during certain transition inserted into video track. eg ( flip, flying cube, flying fold, and few more sluggish transitions) as per issues in my forum discussions. I'm resetting manually now but also losing favorite list unfortunately. The only way around this for me is to export library then after reset I import them again.Then things are all fine.

Also..VS 2021 Ultimate, I discovered that the (flip album transition) wont insert a jpeg. VS crashes. But will work in VS 2020 Ultimate version. Hope a fix can be submitted..upcoming VS upgrades. ( a transition I use often)

My wish is that Corel re-program/re-write ALL there transitions so that they all work in all circumstances. As they do in other video editors.

Read GPS data to facilitate locations and give option to locate on Google Maps. That would something worthwhile instead more Fancy Dan. A case in point. You have traveled and the displayed photo's location is not clear. Now you can find it and proceed editing without using other software.

I, too, want DD 5.1 back on VS 2022. I was absolutely dirty when I found 5.1 was no longer functional, especially when the drop-down was still there! It took me contacting them to find out the functionality was gone! I sent them a nasty email and told them that, if it'd been aware of that lack of functionality, I would not have upgraded!

Audio visualizers like Adobe After Effects to add a spectrum analysis or wave as an overlay. I have to use both software packages to achieve this. A few free video editors also have this effect but as far as I can Video studio does not.
I have the Ultimate version but its clearly not

The ability to change the clip speed with smaller than 1% increments. For a clip of even a minute, the difference between 99% and 98% is huge. The only solution has been to split the clip up into smaller and smaller pieces...this piece at 98%, then this other piece at 99%, etc...If the increment could be 98.45% there would never be a problem. Thank you.

Not upgrading to 2022 until more basics are working. I just want simple things, like hotkeys for zoom in and out on timeline like audacity has, and for keys like spacebar to pause the playing media regardless of being in project mode or clip mode. Does space pause in clip playback mode in '22? Zoom buttons that don't do weird mad scrolling stuff, but still zoom sensibly when my timeline is just a bit wider than the preset zoom levels.

You don't have to worry about upgrading to VS2022.... because VS2023 is the latest version sold by Corel.

A switch between Video Studio and Paint Shop, having frozen a frame for example, would be absolutely great (as you can have in Affinity between Publisher, Photo, and Designer): people could use all the photo tools, scripts and HDR, to make absolutely exceptional videos. The Studio has some painterly FXs now, but they do not allow as much detail and brushwork — or a switch with Painter, that would be great as absolutely if not a bit greater. An export persona would be wonderful too, to allow selecting shots and formats, PNG, PDF, and other, for packages. Regards, Teresa.
