windvd pro 12 not sound on smart tv?

I have watched a lot of BD movies on my smart tv with the old windvd that came in my Sony Vaio laptop.

Now I have bought the Corel Windvd pro 12 because there are new movies that the old version of windvd did not play.

Version 12 plays all movies without problem. But I can only see them on my laptop. When I connect the HDMI cable to watch the movie on the TV, I see the image, but I don't hear the sound. :cry:

Does the same thing happen to someone else?
