Pathway to Picture Frames in PSP2021

Post by Rosemary »

Hi Everyone,
I have just downloaded PSP2021 and would like to transfer my tubes and frames from PSP 2019. I cannot find the pathway. I have tried C>Program files>Corel 2019 but can get no further with either version.
Thank you,

Rosemary

Are these tubes and frames ones you have made or the ones that came with the program and should be almost the same in 2019 and 2021?

Are you intending to keep PSP 2019 on that machine along with PSP 2021 or do you intend to remove PSP 2019?

The ones that come with the program are at
C:\ProgramData\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2019 and

C:\ProgramData\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2021
but you should find those files and folders match
Corel_10 for the Picture Tubes ,
Corel_09 for the Picture Frames.

For ones you may have created , the addresses are

C:\Users\*UserName*\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\2019\Picture Tubes
and
C:\Users\*User Name*\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\2019\Picture Frames
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867

Thank you Hartpaul. My tubes, frames etc were a mixture of my own and PSP but your advice worked a charm.

Another way is to import but this only works for resources stored in default locations. From the Help Files:

You can import content that you’ve saved to the default locations for the last three versions of PaintShop Pro. For example, you can migrate plugins, scripts, brush tips, color palettes, gradients, patterns, textures, and effects that you've previously installed.

* To import content and plugins from previous versions of PaintShop Pro
• Click File > Import > Content From Previous Versions.
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed

Thank you Kathy_9. What an easy way to get everything across to the new version. I have taken note.
