I'm new to video editing and have been absorbing as much YouTube video and tutorials I can. Most, well actually, all my video recording is for personal use I.E. hiking, backpacking, and travel video for friends and family viewing. Anyway, I love the speed ramping affect for transitions and noticed that some of the other editing software has this function readily available. Does VS2020 have this capability?
Thanks
Does VS2020 have Speed Ramping option

Right click your video clip for the context menu, check out the various Speed options
Re: Does VS2020 have Speed Ramping option
Thanks, I'll check it out when I get home. I know it had options to speed up or slow down but didn't know it it was a ramp effect or a step. I'll take a look.....
Re: Does VS2020 have Speed Ramping option
Unfortunately it only speeds up x10 and that's not enough for speed ramping for a blur effect for a transition.

You did not mention "blur" in the original post
I believe there is a Motion Blur FX effect.
Not on my pc to check this filter
