Response from Corel Support Engineer Team re: Scrubber Issue

The issue has been updated to our dev team. In light of your recent acknowledgment and communication, your support ticket will now be closed.
I requested a refund.

I ended up getting a refund on Ultimate 2022 for now until a fix is possible as Corel support had no solution replying only to say "they sent it to DEV team"..then close my ticket. Left me hanging?
I was getting too many crashes and also the scrubber issue was overbearing for me to handle. I ended up re installing version 2020 ultimate being it was the most stable for me. ( even 2021 version was crashing but not too often) I'm NOT getting crashes at all on this 2020 version..
I may be losing out on some great ad ons. (meaning new features..) in 2022 version but the frustration was just too much for me to handle at this time.
So hopefully 2023 version shows much improvements and features..
I am sure many are going to say they love the 2022 version platform and not have any issues.
I have to say I do enjoy the platform of Video Studio and will stay with this editing tool. I just hope that Corel Technicians can improve and thoroughly test the platform before launching to Corel users.

Sorry I meant new features.

I hope a fix for 2022 can be implemented with an update or a fix, then I will purchase 2022 .. or a fix made in new 2023 regarding crashing and scrubber issues.

I appreciate all your feedback, thankyou.

Hello all. Im using 2020 studio ultimate and trying out a trial platform called Corel Motionstudio 3d . Does anyone know why the (export to video studio) would be greyed out? that's the only prompt greyed out.
Again Im doing a trial on this platform and not sure I'm going to keeping it yet .I just want to see what is all about. Maybe not compatible now? any thoughts would be appreciated.
I did look through the Corel Motionstudio 3d forums.

Hi
Ken has replied to your other post here
https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?t=69334

My only thought goes back to the time when Corel disabled the option to save VSP as backward compatibility, now VSP’s can only be opened with the version of Video Studio they were created with or a newer version, did those changes affect MS3D????
As for MS3D, I am not sure that exporting to Video Studio was any more beneficial than creating a video file, exporting as far as I remember allowed VS to open a C3D file, similar to opening an animated Gif which is still available along with creating video files, various types being available.
You could of course save your MS3D file as a .c3d file then import to Video Studio, which I believe is still an option, at least works for VS2021, although I believe c3d files were quite demanding on Video Studio with slow responses.
Personally I would use the Gif or Video options

Hi Trevor. I followed thru what you suggested. Ok I found that standard resolution is 640x480 in this platform ( I couldn't change that). Although I changed frame rate to 1080 and saved as the .c3d file. Then moved it to VS. It was quite choppy in the timeline and sluggish. But after I rendered it, the quality and smoothness was outstanding! I tried creating as a video file to the best quality but the quality was poor even after rendering in VS. It is too bad that the (transfer to VS was greyed out)
So once again, thankyou for your input. All solved.
