VideoStudio 2020 and Flash Player

Hi,
Does anybody have a deeper knowledge if the Flash Player is still required in some scenarios?

Out of the box solution have following configuration:

This sounds a bit odd.

I have now started to remove that from the configurations, but every time support ask re-installation, this is coming back

In theory, flash player is not required for VS2019 and VS2020 as .swf files were replaced with .mov files, we have asked and are still awaiting a reply from Corel, the situation for earlier versions of VS

I don't see any problem of keeping the current flash player installed and disabling it in the browsers.

This was the answer I got, finally:

Regarding your concern, No Videostudio Does not require the Flash player to be installed in your computer.

It is still strange that it is still defined on the configuration files, if that is not required. Perhaps VS2021 fix this as well

What do you mean by "update"? I'm trying to get it away from my workstation

I just figured out those configurations while trying to learn more about this. But now Corel replied to me, and told Flash Player is not required for VS2020.
