Problem using AVI video from Flash MX in Ulead VideoStudio

Post by shahrilridzwan »

I’m using Ulead VideoStudio 8.01. Here’s the problem. I’ve created an AVI video using Macromedia Flash MX Professional 7.0.1 where I’ve converted my flash project into an AVI video by using the “Export Movie” function in Flash MX. The details of the conversion are:

Video Dimension : 1024 x 768 pixels
Video Format : 24 bit color
Sound Format : 44kHz 16bit stereo
Compression : Cinepak Codec by Radius
Compression Quality : 0

When I load the video into VideoStudio and run it as a project, the video lost its quality and seems jerking where the animation in the video seems awfully off. But when I run the video as clip, it runs smoothly with no quality loss.

Can anyone help me to resolve this problem? Did I done something wrong in converting the video? I still want to create the AVI video using Flash MX and use it in VideoStudio as the animations are too complicated for VideoStudio to create.

Try previewing your project, not in the preview window, but in the Share. Don't judge the quality of your project by the preview window, the quality will always appear bad, however VS has not rendered it yet.
