I've uninstalled and re-installed and even completely clean installed my video drivers to my GPU.
But now none of my videos appear anymore when doing my projects.
Can someone explain to me what happened and how to fix this?

Re: VideoStudio 2020 Preview Issues
It is possible that video Studio does not like the recording using 99149 data rate as Video Studio tends to have a 65 Mb limit, the frame rate at 59.92 seems to indicate a variable rate which again VS does not like.
The green preview screens have been reported before with one poster deselecting the Acceleration options via F6 Preferences – Performance tab, besides the program not supporting AMD it may be best to deselect those.
Check your Project Properties, generally they would match the video files properties, set them to standard Mpeg4
Otherwise I would think you may need to use a video converter to create a new video file.
I assume the video is a AMD recording, have you tried setting the recording profile to AMD standard settings, maybe choosing the high option.
Using a free program called MediaInfo will give more details regarding your video properties

Re: VideoStudio 2020 Preview Issues
VS has no problem either ingesting or rendering at 99,999Kbps (see image). The 65Mb limit applies only to VS's preset project properties.lata wrote:It is possible that video Studio does not like the recording using 99149 data rate as Video Studio tends to have a 65 Mb limit
Try using HandBrake, etc. to convert the original clip and see if that resolves the issue.bsgnet wrote:... how to fix this?

Re: VideoStudio 2020 Preview Issues
One image shows the clip is 42min. 53 sec. long and the other image shows that it has a size of 29.7GB is that possible

What data rate are you able to set when working with 1920 x 1080, as the original posters video.
Your sample seems to be 4K

Actually I've captured my videos the same way for years, this just started within the past two weeks and I'm not understanding why now!lata wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 12:03 pm It is possible that video Studio does not like the recording using 99149 data rate as Video Studio tends to have a 65 Mb limit, the frame rate at 59.92 seems to indicate a variable rate which again VS does not like.

Been doing YouTube videos since 2009! And in the past few years I've captured 1080p and 4K videos and never had an issue with them importing with the bitrate this high! Something changed with the software in the last two weeks and for the life of me I can't figure out what.

Re: VideoStudio 2020 Preview Issues
Didn't need to use handbrake, just changed the project settings to 1080p and much higher settings and uncheck the acceleration and it worked!tletter wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 4:44 pmVS has no problem either ingesting or rendering at 99,999Kbps (see image).
