Corel X8 Home & Student Crashes On Opening Microsoft Surface Book 2

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but my Corel X8 Home & Student Crashes on opening on my Microsoft Surface Book 2.
Corel support have been awful and just told me to buy the latest product. Does anybody have any tips and or reasonably priced product upgrade suggestions? I use Corel Draw & Photopaint. I don't really use the other programs in the suite. I have actually used Corel since 1993. I probably won't be using if after this due to poor customer support unless a fix or cheap upgrade is avaiable.
