Boris fx particle illusions and VS2019

Post by Pete Waterman »

Im not sure if this has been covered (I cannot see anything on here)
I have just downloaded the Boris fx free Particle Illusion Standalone does anyone use it and have you found a good set of export settings to use the VS 2019?
Thanks
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

A forum member “Choi seong chul” I believe does use Particle Illusion and is probably the best person to help.
So far I have played with the program so not that experienced, seems quite complex to master fully, although many presets
The program being free does not link directly to Video Studio but can export / render the effect as a transparent Mov
Above the preview is a tab for Render to open an export panel
Format as Mov
Channels as Alpha
You should experiment with these settings, to be honest don’t understand all settings but did save my own profile as image.
