Rendered Video quality poor but only after making color grading adjustments
Hi there, I am currently using video studio ultimate 2018 and shooting with a Panasonic GH5 mp4 format. My system configuration is in my profile. I haven't had any problems viewing or editing both 1080P and 4k video in 10 bit, I can even render the video down to 30fps after shooting 60fps and it still seems clear. I have discovered that the problem arises when I make any color grading adjustments. White balance, auto tone adjustment, hue, saturation, brightness, contrast, or gamma. If I make any changes to any of these the rendered video is blurry and pixelated. I am setting the project properties to match the video clips when I insert them and then checking the same as project settings button on the share tab when I render the video. Any idea why the rendered video would be so bad, but only after changing any color grading adjustments? Also, if I don't check the same as project settings button on the share tab but rather mp4 and choose a quality that is at least as good as the original video it renders fine as well, provided that I have not made any color grading adjustments. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
I was wondering if you have rendering issues when colour grading with 8bit recorded video as well?

I believe we need to know a bit more about your setup. With VS you should have a file "BG_Mountains.mp4", do you get the same problem with that, or is this problem only with your own files? Into which format you render the videos?
