Color Replacer tool acting strangely

Post by LugosisGhost »

Hello,
I am using the color replacer tool and when I paint over the color that I want to replace with the new color, it is leaving a several pixel wide border of the old color around the new color. What settings would be causing that to happen?

I searched through your previous posts to try and see what version of PSP you were using but no luck there.

Most tools have a Presets item with a down arrow to the right. Clicking that will produce a drop down window and to the right hand side there will be an icon for Reset to Default. This is useful for resetting a tool to its default settings in case you have changed one setting in a previous use. Try that first and see if that works.

You could also do a screen shot showing the settings you are using - crop it so that only the settings for that tool and the version of PSP are showing. This can help others to try an repeat any problems you are experiencing.
