Hi Guys,
My first pot here.
I have an older version of PSP and after using my new PC over the last few weeks, I've noticed that when I open a png image, I see a checkerboard background that I never used to see on my old PC. Is there any way I can deletes this background and view the file with a clear background..? It's no good adding a coloured background so I can edit the image as I want to be able to edit it and paste it into another image so the clear background is a must.
cheers,
Ron.
I cannot see how to insert an image as my images are on my PC..?

Re: View png images
The checkered background is what you see when you have transparency. So it is technically clear and won't interfere with pasting into another image. If you want to change the appearance of this checkered background use the General Preferences.
File->Preferences->General Program Preferences.
I believe under the transparency section you will see an option to select the colors of the checks. Just make them the same color to make it look solid. I don't personally like this as it makes it harder to distinguish a transparent background from a solid color one.
