VS9 Exporting to MPEG Sound breaks up and distorted

Post by AlphaDood »

When I create a new slideshow in VS9 and export the show to MPEG-2 using the Share-Create Video File and Options of Custom default settings the resulting MPEG sound is distorted and broken when I play back using Windows Media Player or Nero Showtime. Playback is normal when I use VS9. If I export the same project into an AVI file the playback is good with WMP and Showtime. Again if I re-render the VS9 MPEG using NeroVision Express into a renamed MPEG file the sound plays clear.

I have checked all my settings in VS9 and they are in the suggested positions. Is there something I am overlooking or should I not be concerned about the sound in the MPEG and just go ahead and burn onto a DVD.

Thanks in advance.
