Recreating an After Effects Tutorial with NeuBlue Title Pro or BorisFX Title Studio with Corel VideoStudio 2020

Post by SolidSnake2003 »

Is it possible to rereate the intro that was created in the tutorial listed below?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7PRBd_D9sI

I have the latest version of Corel VideoStudio Ultimate. Can this be accomplished with either the Titler Pro or Title Studio plugins with Ultimate 2020?

In VS2020 you have 3D titler and NB titler so it's all up to you

Sorry if I'm asking basic questions about the software. I've never used these tools before. Plus don't have experience with 3d much.

Hi
NewBlue TitleEditor Pro
The text tools do need a bit of time to master, a bit of a learning curve, I have been looking at the New Blue Title Editor, to use that first insert an image to the timelines
Then drag the FX filter to the clip, it’s the last filter in the list
When you first select the thumbnail from the library it does take a while to respond, once showing a white border drag to the clip.
Ignore the preview screen showing enter text, that is just to confuse us
Double click the clip on the timeline will open the options panel, you can now choose “ Customise”
Or using 2020 there should be a yellow star on the timeline clip, select that for Filter
Now the fun begins
To the far left I see a right facing arrow, that should open the Project Template library, have a look at some of the packs.

To be honest I find it a little complicated, but then I do not use this as much as I should, I do now realise i can set a transparent background and export as a video file, well managed to do that once?

aski1 is spot on. Unless you open the plugins and see what they can do, you won't know. There are many tutorials online for both Boris and NBFX. Maybe you can not totally recreate it, you can get close enough. But there is no "1 click" button to do it as shown in that tutorial.
Look how long that tutorial went....
Learn the plugins and experiment, experiment, experiment....

You should also look at BCC Title Studio, again opened via the FX filter library

Not bad questions, just questions! The answers are different persons' way to say "Yes, it can be done with the tools you have." Those answers have the qualifier that there is a learning curve.

You didn't ask a bad question.
But looking for something that will work with a press of the button, well, sometimes, it isn't going to happen and you have to create it from scratch.

There are templates in both Boris and NBFX that you can start with. There are online tutorials to help you get up and running. That is how most of us got up and running. Then it was left up to us to use our imagination in what we wanted to do and seeing if we could get the software to do it.

Everyone basically said it is up to you. You have the tools, but the "title" isn't going to build itself.
