Text Issue
I first used Paintshop Pro 7 & 9 several years ago but when I progressed to Windows 10 they would not work on it. I now have Paintshop Pro X9 after using other programmes and wanting to make tags and animations. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now without a problem but I'm suddenly having a problem with the text tool. When I click on it to write text it starts flashing and the programme freezes. I have to keep closing the pc down and logging on again. I have 32 bit and 64 bit installed but the problem occurs in both. Thanks

Re: Text Issue
Hello MarilynneT1707,
some older versions had a conflict with the GPU driver, while a web browser was running in the background. Then turning off Hardware Acceleration in the browser helped. Windows 10 is also known to cause all kind of problems. Ensure, that you have all updates installed, even the latest GPU driver.
Of course there can be several others reasons. Test it, when all other programs are closed.
There was a fellow with a similar issue before here in the forum - maybe the replies below will inspire you: https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?t=60848
The Search might find even more of such threads.
If this still does not help with fixing the issue, please describe a bit more about what you mean by 'starts flashing' and where you exactly click on.
Friendly greetings,
Ravelli
Edit: fixed my typonese
