Problems to take a screenshot

I have PSP 2021 Ultimate. I use a laptop connected to TWO monitors, so I use monitor 1 and monitor 2 (not the laptop monitor). If I use screenshot area, when I press Ctrl-F10 to take the screenshot, the old good cross cursor does not appear anymore to slect an area of the screen, does not matter if the same screen where I see PSP or the other. I can only get a fullscreen shot by using "delay-before-capture" settings. Any idea why?
