PSP2021 slow to load

Three of the four times I loaded PSP 64 my PC hung and I had to do a cold boot. Not even "End Program" from task manager worked to close the program. The one time PSP 64 loaded it took seven minutes. PSP 32 takes about 30 seconds. What's up with the poor performance of the 64 version? Do I need to reinstall the whole suite?
I'm using a Sony VAIO laptop with 1 TB hard disk, Intel Core i7, 16 Gig of Ram and NVIDIA GeForce graphics board. Do I need to uninstall 2020 first?
Any help will be appreciated.

It depends what else is running on Windows 10. Defender, firewall, antivirus etc. can really slow down start of PSP 2021 Ult. It was already discussed in forum recently. My PC is offline and I don't have firewall, antivirus. It starts with Ryzen 5 3000X in 5 sec.

The suggestion of switching wi-FI on and off seem to do the trick.
