Move image in worksapce

Move image in worksapce
I have just installed the Express version and thought I would have a play. But all the images I open appear in the bottom right corner of the workspace. How do I move them into the centre? I have tried all of the buttons etc, but can't move it. So I thought I would ask here before uninstalling it.
