I've been with Corel since 1999 and have over the years been plagued with these pop-up ads that are very difficult to stop. And they've gotten worse. Why should I have to crawl under the hood of the program and dig into the registry (not a place I am comfortable exploring) to stop these damn ads? I have purchased hundreds of dollars from Corel (CorelDraw, PSP, Fusion) and I don't need to be pestered to buy something I don't want. Why isn't it sufficient to uncheck the box requesting msgs from Corel and be done with it?
Perhaps it is time to wave bye-bye to Corel products.

See this thread for methods to stop the pop-ups that do not involve hacking the registry. https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=65942
Also, since this is a user to user forum it's unlikely that Corel will see your concern as Corel employees do not visit the forum on a regular basis.

Try blocking PSP in your firewall, both in and out. You will also lose functions like checking for updates from within the program, or d/l extra content, etc, so not an optimal solution. You can however occasionally unblock it if you need to check for those, and block it back.

Re: What's Easier - Stopping Pop-Up Ads or Switching to Different Software?
I have already decided to stop buying Corel products. I have lived with the annoying adverts and the poor product support. (Ever got real help from the 'Help Desk'? An oxymoron.) For me, the final straw was the way they withdrew the geotagging functionality from PSP (2020) despite continuing to mention the feature in the advertising.
Yes there are lots of features in PSP but the quality and support is lacking.
