Hello
I am using VS Pro X10 and afternoon uploading and editing an .MTS file and rendering as a .m2t file the screen on the video flashed green during video transitions. It didn’t always do this but seems to be doing it now. Anyone else have this issue after rendering or know what causes it? I am running a windows 10.
Thanks
Palmer

With all types of transitions? What is the transition duration?PalmerC wrote:the screen on the video flashed green during video transitions.

Re: After render screen goes green during transitions
These are 1-2 sec transitions and it has happened with multiple ones just from the stock program. What I did find out since starting this post is if I render to an MPEG format it works fine without issue. Which somewhat solves my problem but I still wonder why it happens when I render as a .m2t format.

Re: After render screen goes green during transitions
Hi PalmerC
And welcome to the forums
I have used MTS ( AVCHD) video files for a long time and have not suffered the green effect.
I have on occasions had problems with the odd MP4 and Mov
There is another poster (jparnold) using X10 and working with MTS files, his post is here
https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?p=382171#p382171
As far as I know has not had this issue, you could ask.
Are your project settings using the same properties as your video files properties and when you do Share what options are you using.
Make sure the frame size, I assume 1920 x 1080 and the frame rate (30 / 29.97)are the same
Even so whatever you choose here it should not end up as green
As the program did work without this problem, I can only assume that something on your PC has changed
I would try re-installing X10 to see if that cures the problem
Oh could you update your forum profile to include your Corel programs VS X10 etc.

Re: After render screen goes green during transitions
I routinely use X10 to render VSPs with .MTS files and numerous crossfade or dissolve transitions in the AVCHD format w/o seeing the issue that you report.PalmerC wrote:but I still wonder why it happens when I render as a .m2t format.
You could create a small Smart Package illustrating the issue and share it to this forum and see if others see the same thing that you report. Or alternatively, you could uninstall and reinstall X10 and see if that solves the issue.

Re: After render screen goes green during transitions
Couldn't help but notice this.
I have not had this problem lately but I think I remember it happening in the past when I used to have project settings set as DVD and using .mts video clips (a carry over from VS6 which didn't allow for project properties for ACVHD).
Once again I think it once happened but can't remember if and what I did to fix it.
When rendering do you select 'same as project settings'? Can I assume that you have selected YES when you started your project and added the first .mts clip (and VS asked if you wanted change the project settings to match the clip).
The transitions I normally use are crossfade, barn door, funnel, side, spin and fade to black.

Re: After render screen goes green during transitions
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I do typically hit yes when asking to match the project settings. I have been just rendering as MPEG without issue at this point having no problems. Maybe something to experiment with in the future.
