DVD PLAYER 1.5 don't work properly, why?

I am using DVD Player 1.5 to watch some dvd movies on my projector.
Everything seems ok, but sometimes (one time each 5 minutes ) I saw the images go slowly for a second (like a drop frame).
I checked with other software and is not a problem of HD, CPU, or graphic card.
During playback cpu is 40 %, hd maybe 5 %.
With some other software this dropping problem never happen, but I want still use ulead player because is the only one that allow me to uwatch on the secondary monitor (via nvidia fx5200).
I tried also to watch in the primary monitor and the problem is still there.
Can you write to me why and How I can sort the problem?

My PC is: P 4 2.4gz , 780mb ram, on asus p4pex, matrox g450, nvidia fx5200 with panasonic pt ae700 linked via DVI, HD 5 * Maxto atlas 10k 5 73 U320 on Adaptec 39320R. Dvd Player/recorder asus
