Is there a way to save in preferences shadow and animation

Post by jparnold »

Hello,
Regarding TEXT.
I have noticed that whenever I restart VS10 the color I previously selected for border/shadow TEXT has not changed but the thickness has changed back to 0 requiring me to reset it.
Also the attribute (I normally use animation/fade/user defined/cross fade) has disappeared requiring me to set it up again.

Is there anyway I can somehow set these things so that the default to the way I used them editing the same project in the past?

Another annoyance is that I set the volume level for ALL clips at 20% (select the first clip using shift left mouse button and then the last clip) then select adjust volume then 20) but if I SPLIT audio the volume of the audio in 'clip' placed into the voice track has volume set at 100%. Is there something I can do so that the volume remains the same as in the original clip?

Thanks

John

Why don't you save your text style as favorite and drag it to TL when needed?

"Good thinking 99" as Maxwell Smart would say.

Actually I never thought is was possible However when I tried it I did it by selecting the text in the timeline (right mouse click) and then selected 'Add to my favourites' and that added it but when I select it from 'My favourites' and drag it onto the timeline it also contains the text which I would then need to change.

That is no big deal BUT is that the way you do it and with that result?

Indeed, I shoot few symposiums a year, I add names and so on,
So once I make the style I drag it, click it and copy/paste the titles from the text program.
