Questions About Bonus Content

Post by michaeltee »

Hello,

I recently installed the retail CD-ROM version of VS9 but have NOT yet installed the Bonus Content CD.

I did however install the following additional content files which I downloaded from Ulead's site:

DVDMenuBonusPack
Full Spectrum 22K
uvs9_contentpack_part1
uvs9_contentpack_part2
uvs9_contentpack_part3
uvs9_contentpack_part4

My question: Is the above content the same material that is on the "Bonus CD" or is this in addition to it?

Thanks!

Not really. In making the downloaded version, Ulead had to remove content from Videostudio, like transitions and sample clips. The content download gives you the content back. Users may recognize this is the missing stuff from the trial version. If you have the retail CD you, don't need the Content download since you already have it installed.

That explains it. I did install these after installing VS9 from the retail CD but apparently no harm was done as the program seems to be running well.

Thanks,
