Freehand selection tool on a Cintiq pro touch monitor

Hi all, Though I don’t wish it on anyone, I hope somebody out there has experience of this issue, and solved it. It concerns using the PaintShnop Pro ‘Freehand Selection,’ tool, in conjunction with the Wacom pen, on the Cintiq. Each time I endeavour to use this combination, I find that the tool will randomly complete the selection of its own volition, while I haven’t yet physically completed the selection I desire? I also find that clicking the pen buttons often has no effect, not terminating the manoeuvre; and moving the pen just drags a line, scrolling the page in the direction the pen is heading. I’m pretty sure I have the system set up correctly as all the other features I have used, so far, seem to work ok. Having built the system myself I’m relatively confident I have that configured right, too... but you never know!

Try another setting here (File/Preferences/General Program Preferences):

About your Selection problem:
using your pen, add to the selection with Shift key and remove with Ctrl key.
