Re: Nice new corel titles tutorial
I don't have the 'Motion Graphics and Titles' option.
Is this a separate purchase?

Re: Nice new corel titles tutorial
I have never seen or hear of the 'Motion Graphics and Titles' option.
there are some mov files in the samples folders that are used in a few 10 or so Titles that can be found in the library, the last 15 entries use video files.
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Content\Samples\Video Lens Flare 1.mov etc.
But as for the Overlay library aka Graphics Library we dont have 'Motion Graphics and Titles'
Maybe Corel have jumped the gun with the tutorial, maybe the next version??????

Re: Nice new corel titles tutorial
Yes, I have the 'Video Lens Flare' and others. These are probably not as good as the free downloads you can find on U tube etc.
But as you say there is no Motion Graphics and Titles option.

Re: Nice new corel titles tutorial
It looks like you need to spend a further £46 if you want these extras.

Re: Nice new corel titles tutorial
Thanks John
Corel should make it clearer that the package has to be purchased.
They would do better in providing a few as samples if they wish to drum up trade
Post updated
I found one sample Mov here
https://learn.corel.com/tutorials/creat ... deostudio/
But we have 15 movs that are part of the Titles library, the last 15 titles use this feature

Re: Nice new corel titles tutorial
Thanks Trevor,
I downloaded the free sample and it unzips into a .mov file. This will not play in VLC.
It will however open in VS2020 but seems to be less than useless but that's probably because I don't know how to use it.

Re: Nice new corel titles tutorial
The Mov has a transparent background
so if you insert to the overlay track the top track will show through
Play and you will see the effect
Start a new project
Create a Title
I assume you have imported the sample to the Overlay Library
Drag that Mov to the clip on the timeline, a tool Tip will show Drop to merge the Title
The clip on the timeline now has a "2", select that to show the Mov and Title
The hard part is to match the title to the Mov.
Selecting the word will allow you to position / resize to the mov
The purchased templates will of course be matched and all we need to do is replace the words.
These are very similar to the templates provided by FX BCC
There are similar titles incorporating Mov in the Title library, the last 15 Titles.
I guess its a bit of a learning curve.
