Can anyone suggest what is happening here? I create 4K projects in VideoStudio and footage comes from four sources: My Sony FDR AX53, a Victure AC800 4K action camera, my Motorola Moto X Style smart phone and my DJI Mavic Air. I use proxy files while editing and from the first three devices playing and editing is fine, but as soon as I try and do ANYTHING with the drone footage the playback is ridiculously jerky. That goes for straight forward play, multitrim or cropping. The footage itself is fine and will play beautifully in the standard Windows media player - just not in VideoStudio version X10, 2018 or 2019. I have to have the footage playing in media player alongside VS so I can edit it. By the time the project is rendered all is fine again.
Has anyone have any idea why this only happens with the drone footage>

Hi
My first thoughts are that Smart Proxy files have not been created for your drone footage
Go to Settings Smart Proxy Manager - Smart Proxy Files, view the list as the names are similar to the source files.
In addition a small icon can be seen on clips which are using Smart Proxy
