Why is my video rendering so slowly?
I have been working with Handbrake all day long to try to figure out how to reduce the file size of my videos so that Videostudio (Pro2020), will upload more quickly. I seems I just can't figure it out. But I reduced the resolution on my phone camera so that the original file size would be smaller. I was recording at UHD 3840x2160 (60 fps) before and ended up with a huge file size so I cut my recording to HD 1280x720 (30 fps) and loaded it straight to VS, hardly did any editing and the file size for the 16 min. video was 694 MB. But when I try to render it, it took about 10 minutes just to get to 1%. At first I thought it wasn't going to do anything at all. What could I possible be doing wrong??? At 1% every 10 minutes, it would take 1,000 minute to render.

I would post an image of the properties but it appears that option has been removed.
Since I can't post a screenshot, I wrote down the properties. Here they are...ANd for some reason, the resolution in VS is different than the properties my phone has. I shot the video at 1280x720 but videostudio says it's 1920x1080. That really has me baffled.
VS Properties:
Mpeg4 files
24 bits 1920x1080
Frame based
H.264 High Profile Video 5000
Kbps 16:9
48000 HZ 16 bit stereo
Mpeg AAC Audio 256 Kbps
And the phone properties says 419.56 MB 1280 x 720. It appears that VS is reading the video wrong.

Click on the Attachments tab and upload your file.rkstudio wrote:I would post an image of the properties but it appears that option has been removed.
Is unclear exactly what are the properties of your source file, and what are your project properties. If your source file has a variable frame rate then that may cause issues.rkstudio wrote:ANd for some reason, the resolution in VS is different than the properties my phone has.
It would appear that your project properties don't match those of the source files but they should. VS can do this automatically when creating a new project or you can manually change them to match.rkstudio wrote:I shot the video at 1280x720 but videostudio says it's 1920x1080.
